PRO DJ LINK on screen. Automatically.
CDJs straight to your stream. Now Playing speaks Pioneer's link protocol, no laptop DJ software required.
How Now Playing reads PRO DJ LINK
PRO DJ LINK is the protocol Pioneer DJ (AlphaTheta) hardware uses to link players and mixers over ethernet. Now Playing joins that network and captures real-time track data directly from the players, including play from USB drives and SD cards with no computer in the booth. With a DJM mixer connected, mixing modes decide when a track goes on air: smart, silence, or master-tempo.
From there it's the same everywhere: tracks flow to your overlay, Twitch chat, files, and every other output the moment they go on air.
What works
- CDJ-2000NXS/NXS2, CDJ-3000, XDJ-700/1000, XDJ-XZ, XDJ-AZ, and DJM mixers with link support, the DJM-V10 included
- Up to six linked CDJs on one network
- USB and SD playback with no DJ software running
- On-air detection from mixer faders (Nexus 2 and newer mixers)
Known limits
- XDJ-RX series and Opus-Quad don't offer full PRO DJ LINK standalone, so use their rekordbox modes instead
- Artwork comes from a local rekordbox library; players don't transfer it over the link
